ポール・デクラークは、フランス出身のノマドフォトグラファーです。日本を拠点に、決まった住所を持たず、世界各地に新しい場所や物語を探し求めるライフスタイルが、彼の写真に反映されています。本展示では作品の販売と併せ、4年間にわたり、東京からバルセロナ、パリ、ロンドン、ニューヨークなど世界中のストリート写真を撮影した84ページのリソグラフィー印刷の写真集を販売いたします。また1月16日(木)にはオープニングパーティーもございますのでぜひお越しください。
僕は静かで穏やかな時間と、ストリートの生々しいエネルギーを行き来している。僕の写真は、洗練されてはいないけど、美しくリアルな人生そのものを映し出している。静けさと混沌、そのどちらの世界にも引き込んで、そこにある意味を一緒に見つけてもらえたら嬉しいです。
